8week twin scan help

I just recently found out that I'm pregnant with twins! I was in such shock when the private scan sonogrpaher said twins that I didn't ask her any questions.
Do any sonograhers out there know what type of twins these are?

Hey! I am not a sonographer so I could be completely wrong, just guessing! But my twins had their own little black space (sacks I guess) whereas yours look like they are sharing? So I would say identical perhaps?

I think the same maybe! I'll find out at the 12 week scan I'm just impatient!

I agree with the other poster, my twins had their own sacks which was obvious on the scan. Yours look like they're sharing so are probably identical.

100% sure these are identical twins. Contgrats! Difficult to tell whether they are sharing the amniotic sac at this stage (it's better if they're not as this is higher risk but it's very rare).

I have identical twin girls & that's very similar to my 12 week scan; should add that was over 20 years ago Congratulations Op

Thanks everyone, I agree I think it looks as though they are identical. I'll update after 12 week scan if anyone is interested.
