I don’t think there is any “should” about it really. some women have loads of symptoms, other women have very few.

I know how you’re feeling, though. I had a MMC in June and currently 8 weeks, but trying not to think about it until I get the 12 week scan.

Batbatbatty · 10/10/2022 13:47

There's nothing you "should" be experiencing - everyone is completely different!

Cotswoldmama · 10/10/2022 13:50

With my first all the initial sickness and nausea had just about gone and I was starting for feel better although I still had a few foods I avoided as they turned my stomach. So no real symptoms at 10 weeks. With my youngest I had no symptoms at all until around 20 weeks when I got heartburn. I had no sickness or nausea with him at all and I had no breast tenderness with either. With my second if I hadn't had a positive pregnancy test and a missed period I wouldn't have known I was pregnant.

TokenGinger · 10/10/2022 13:53

At 10 weeks, I had no symptoms at all in both pregnancies. My only symptoms were tiredness until around 8 weeks, then kicking from around 25 weeks x

Thank you all for your reassurance.

Hello! I am 10 weeks tomorrow. My most annoying symptom at the moment is a horrible taste in my mouth. I'm also sensitive to smells but weirdly only flowers and cleaning products! Also hungry, sore boobs, nauseous and tired. But feeling better than I was and hoping things keep improving. It's totally individual so try not to worry. Lots of women have no symptoms whilst others are sick all the time.

Fawn68 · 10/10/2022 19:37

@2023leigh sorry about your MC, I too am the same as I had 2 previously. I have 2 DC also, one being after the 2 MC. I am 10 weeks and I basically have zero symptoms. I had nausea and bloating from 7-9 weeks then it just stopped, I have my scan on Thursday so hopefully all will be ok! It's very hard not to worry.

CharlotteLove · 10/10/2022 20:13

I’m 9 weeks pregnant with no real symptoms & feeling very nervous/excited but mostly nervous..!
Anyone else in the same boat?!

2023leigh · 10/10/2022 20:13

Thank you for sharing this. I had the bloating and feeling nauseous. But that comes in waves, and doesn't last for long.
Good luck for your scan, hope it all goes well.

I have 2 kids. Other than a few cravings around 5 months, barely any symptoms!

chasingtherainbow1 · 10/10/2022 20:30

I have also had 3 miscarriages and with this latest pregnancy I've had almost no symptoms at all. Now 15 weeks and had a scan last Tuesday and all seemed ok. It always panics me when people say they have loads of symptoms

2023leigh · 11/10/2022 10:53

Yeah same. Glad you hear that others are not experiencing any or many symptoms. It does make you nervous.

hi there

i know this is a late post and I hope your pregnancy is going well. I was just intrigued if you were showing at 10 weeks pregnant?
im coming up 10 weeks on Monday and I don’t look it at all and have no symptoms.
ive Had 2 previous miscarriages, 1 @ 6 weeks which was a mmc & 1 @ 8 weeks naturally. I went for a scan Monday at 9 weeks and baby was growing and heartbeat there but as the days have gone on I just feel nothing. Usually in bed at night I get twinges but nothing or after I’ve eaten I get the bloat but that’s all stopped. Just wish I had a sign to know I was still pregnant or ok.
xx

allgoodthings84 · 21/01/2023 16:07

@AmyB26 I didn’t show until I was over 20 weeks with my first. I’m pregnant with my second (9 weeks) and not expecting to show for awhile yet even though I’m guessing will be earlier with the second but who knows. At 10 weeks you wouldn’t be showing. Some women are bloated so have a bloat bump but it’s too early for a baby bump.

allgoodthings84 · 21/01/2023 16:09

@AmyB26 it’s also too early to feel the baby move. Unfortunately at this stage it early symptoms (if you have them) or nothing. I know how the worry is I’ve had 2 early losses myself and am constantly worried but know there’s nothing I can do but wait.

AmyB26 · 21/01/2023 16:13

Thank you so much for the reply and congratulations ! Wishing you all the best for your second pregnancy.
ahh it’s so hard to not worry isn’t it and I’m really struggling to speak to friends who just say “everything’s fine”. I know they mean well but they were also saying that when I miscarried.
it’s nice to know you weren’t showing until 20 weeks and my doctor did say I wouldn’t be showing yet, just wish I had something to keep my mind positive. Got no symptoms at all. I’ve lost every single one but also appreciate that’s to be expected at this stage too.
really appreciate the reply Xx

allgoodthings84 · 21/01/2023 16:25

@AmyB26 i know it’s so hard isn’t it. We just want things to go well and have to just hope for the best. Won’t be long until our 12 weeks scans 💕

AmyB26 · 21/01/2023 16:28

Exactly right. Wishing you all the best for your 12 weeks scan ❤️

Seryse · 21/01/2023 16:43

Firstly, congratulations!

I have an 18 year old daughter, 10 month old son, had a miscarriage in August when he was 4 months (completely unplanned, I was on contraception) and am currently 20 weeks. I can honestly say all 4 pregnancies were different.

First one, absolute dream (I was 20 so maybe youth helped haha), no problems at all, no sickness, nothing. Sailed through it.... until I had a placental abruption at 37 weeks and had an emergency section, lol.

Second one, hyperemisis kicked my arse and i was puking circles round myself feom about 4 weeks when we found out. Lost 9 stone in total through the pregnancy (though I did have a fair bit to loose so win win I guess).

The miscarriage in August I had horrific heartburn and indigestion.

This pregnancy (20 weeks now) massive boobs since about 5 weeks, bit of nausea but nothing compared to when I was pregnant with my son, bit more tired than I was last time but the 10 month old is very, very active so that contributes to being tired.

Mine have all been massively different. There's no textbook symptoms you should and shouldn't have so please, I know it's hard but try not to worry. Congratulations again!

Rizzo80 · 22/01/2023 08:46

Congratulations to all
I'm 10 weeks today with zero symptoms. All I've had is spotty facial skin, sore boobs, toothache & missed periods,
I finally have a booking appointment on 30th Jan

I'm over 40 FTM so I thought I would be seen much earlier.
I keep thinking the worse, it's a constant worry
The first trimester is very hard isn't it.
Mumsnet has been a life saver for me, thank you to all that contribute xx

AmyB26 · 22/01/2023 12:42

Congratulations to you too.
seems to be really common people aren’t getting symptoms and I would also see it a positive you have the boob ache & bad skin (I know it’s not nice) !
I literally have nothing at all, along with a really flat stomach (size 6/8). I’ve asked for a private scan tomorrow and absolutely dreading the outcome after the last 2 miscarriages.
praying for you & your scan and that all will be well. Let’s stay positive Xx
