How much colostrum do I take to the hospital?

Pregnant with DD2 who is most likely coming early due to my health issues. Last time around I could barely express anything but this time am able to fill 1ml syringes with ease. I know 1ml isn't a lot but certainly more than I managed last time. Just wondering how many syringes I should aim for?

Colostrum harvesting isn't essential, it's a nice to have. Stop putting pressure on yourself! Stress inhibits milk production so the .more you get upset about it, the less you are likely to obtain anyway.

I never leaked or got more than a glistening of colostrum pre-birth, and EBF past a year.

The important things for establishing BF post birth are early feeding (within an hour) or early hand expression, lots of uninterrupted skin to skin, give baby lots of access to the breast. Tell MW you are going to delay weighing/being separated from baby for as long as possible (as long as baby is well of course)
