Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

It'll be fine don't worry.

Just worry because I’m pregnant

No it's fine. Humous is just chickpeas the risk of food poisoning will be very low.
Also a sell by date is just the date shop should have sold the product.

PinkPlantCase · 09/10/2022 19:19

What do you think will happen? 😂

Unless it was visibly growing mould you’ll be absolutely fine

PicaNewName · 09/10/2022 19:22

It's sell-by anyway. What do you think would happen?

Redqueenheart · 09/10/2022 19:25

Nothing will happen with humous.

If it was meat, fish or eggs it might be different but it is unlikely that chickpeas will do you any harm...

BCBird · 09/10/2022 19:27

It will be fine.

SussexRoyal · 09/10/2022 19:28

My partner once gave me hummus that was 3 weeks out of date and also in an opened package - I was fine. I’m also a worried pregnant person and even I’d be fine with 1 day!

gamerchick · 09/10/2022 19:29

Foods don't watch the clock for midnight and then tell themselves it's time to go off OP. Don't give it another thought.

nomoreflyingducks · 09/10/2022 21:39

You'll be fine. A couple of days out of date, providing it's been kept in the fridge would be fine, so one day won't do any harm to you or your embryo/ foetus/ baby.

HighlandPony · 09/10/2022 21:42

My grans been eating things years past their sell by dates for 80 odd years. She’s still here and still annoying everyone. I wouldn’t worry.
