I’m 8 weeks pregnant and midwife offered me the NIPT test, we were going to pay to have it done privately anyway as I didn’t realise it was offended on the NHS.
With the private test they’re able to confirm the gender early but the midwife hasn’t mentioned this at all and I feel silly asking as obviously the test is primarily for the health reasons and not the gender so I didn’t want her to think that’s what I was bothered about (probably overthinking but it is my first). Does anyone know if they tell you the gender with the NHS version of the test?
