It felt like baby had a seizure inside me?! Is that mental?

22 weeks - just felt what felt like a sort of vibration for around 45 seconds. Could this be some sort of seizure? I'm a bit panicked but I think I'm still too early to go to the ward

Could it have been hiccups? I get something that sounds very similar and I think it's hiccups!

Most probably hiccups! But ask someone medical if you’re concerned.

Came on to say hiccups! Used to have this all the time when pregnant with DD, freaky at first but common I think. I'd always ring my midwife if concerned tho.

Ooo I used to get this with my LO! Felt like a Nokia 3310 just buzzed inside me! LO is fine though, born healthy and all good. Never found out what it was

I'd totally forgotten this but I definitely had it with one of mine and was really worried. Now strong healthy 8 and 6 yos (can't remember which one it was!)

Was it gentle any rhythmic? Possibly hiccups.

It is possible for babies to have seizures during pregnancy. I would bring this up with your midwife

It could actually be a nerve pressed against that's causing the vibration.

I’ve had three babies and this is totally normal. My sister has four babies and she had it too. We think it might be them doing the ‘startle reflex’ inside the womb. Definitely normal though, although I thought exactly the same as you ‘my baby just had a seizure!’. Honestly, definitely 100% fine I promise.

Ah, mine did this and I worried the same thing! He's now 3 weeks old and I'm trying to get him down in his cot!

Get in touch with your midwife if you're concerned though.
