Hi everyone. This is my first time posting here so apologies in advance for my long message! We have been trying to conceive for 12 and a half years. We went for our first round of ivf in January this year. Got 19 eggs, 16 were mature but none fertilised as sperm and eggs didn’t bind so we were told Icsi would be our next option. I was overstimulated and very poorly from it. We went for another cycle in June and tried different injections this time to prevent ohss and after 12 nights of stimulation injections our cycle was cancelled as we only had 8 follicles. Fast forward to the start of September we started again and everything was going great this time. I was feeling good and scans, bloods, lining etc all was good at each scan. We got 19 eggs again and again 16 were mature. They did Icsi and 8 fertilised. I was a bit shocked at the large drop of numbers. We had 2 blastocysts at day 5 and the two were transferred. Our other two were kept til day 6 but unfortunately they didn’t make it so we had nothing to freeze. Three days after embryo transfer we went to the clinic and I had my bloods done. On our way home we got a call saying that my progesterone was perfect at 153 but my white blood count had crept up to 14.1 which meant that my body was trying to fight the pregnancy. I was told to up my dose of prednisone from 15 mg to 25 mg and come back on Monday for repeat bloods. We went back on Monday and was told to wait for results as if the number was still high I would have to go on Intralipids. The bloods came back that it was still creeping up and my wbc was now 14.3 so was put on the intralipids. We were booked in for Thursday for the beta blood test but unfortunately got the call saying that it wasn’t good news. My progesterone which had been 153 last week was down at 28. The doctor suggested a reproflow endometrium biopsy to check what’s going on with my nk cells and said that it can take 8 weeks then to clear. I’m just wondering if anyone has gone through something similar and had a positive outcome? Is there any other testing that you would recommend? I’d rather have everything checked now than go through it all again and be told we will do more testing. I can’t help but feel like it’s all my fault as we had two good quality embryos and my body killed them offðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ’”💔I have read about anti inflammatory diet but I’d love to hear what other people tried, supplements etc. my immune is overeactive and I’m just hoping that it’s something that can be controlled. I also have endometriosis. Any help or advice would be very much appreciated. thanks in advance x
