As above really… I am itching to know !

13 weeks tomorrow and I have seen a few places near me offer gender scans from 14 weeks now.. is this the norm? Seems very early

I booked for 16weeks5days. I also got a 3d sneak peek and some Pics of both normal and 3d.

confirmed at 20wk scan.

I’d guess girl!

Tho it’s the sex you are determining not the gender

gender is social norms not biology!

I didn’t find out with any of my 3 til the day - you have very very few surprises in life - I really recommend waiting!

Damsons · 07/10/2022 22:26

@OurChristmasMiracle thanks ! I will try hold off a couple more weeks

@Watapalava sorry I have spent too long online tonight looking at ‘ gender scans’ my mistake xx and I really admire your commitment I imagine it’s the best surprise in the world. But unfortunately I have absolutely no willpower 😊

Haha I know it’s become so much more popular now

I’m mid 40s and no one found out back 15-17 years ago

it’s so nice tho as everyone rally’s round waiting by their phones like ‘ooh what did you have ‘ etc

when they know the sex, no one outside immediate family really cares about the actual birth

nit being negative just trying to convince you 😂😂. You’ll have a much more special experience on the day if all your friends and family are on tenterhooks waiting!

TimeforZeroes · 07/10/2022 22:40

Boy. That’s a stacked little nub.

Thats not true. My dm had my dbro 20 years ago and she found out as did her pregnant friends and coworkers at the time. Sexing scans have been popular for at least twenty years.

Watapalava · 07/10/2022 22:51

Yes popular but onkt really amongst certain groups

back when I had mine it was mainly teens and those under 23 who found out

married couples mostly didnt

stairgates · 07/10/2022 22:53

Looks very boyish to me :)

muddlingthrou · 07/10/2022 22:53

17w 3d. So worth it for me, absolutely loved it 😊

Hey2021 · 07/10/2022 22:53

Due to the stacked nub I would say boy. I have several boys and the num looked like your first photo.

Hey2021 · 07/10/2022 22:54

*nub

So what you actually mean is that your friends didn’t find out 🙄 My mum found out with my sibling, she was in her thirties and married. As far as I’m aware nobody was surprised that she chose to find out, or thought it was odd. She would have found out with me several years previously but the hospital I was born at had a policy of not revealing it.

I have no idea I’m afraid OP, but it’s a lovely scan photo. I’m sure I read somewhere it’s best to wait until after 16 weeks though 🙂

hellosunshineagainxxx · 07/10/2022 23:12

Best to wait until after 16 weeks for a high level of accuracy. I had mine this week at 16+3 and was still a challenge to get baby in right position but then found out its a boy

Stephanie226 · 07/10/2022 23:17

I had mine tonight and I am 17+2 and the sonographer was sure of what it is. I still don't know as we find out tomorrow 😫 x
