Hi all! I’m looking for some reassurance.

I’m 10 weeks pregnant, yesterday morning when I went for a pee and wiped bright red blood. It wasn’t loads but it was fresh red blood. Then nothing else for the rest of the day.
this morning again I go pee and this time I wipe and it’s super light brown barely there. Had a couple more wipes like this throughout the day but nothing more.
I have no pain/cramps, still have symptoms, boobs are still sore etc..
I also had an early scan at 8 weeks and baby was happy + healthy. Can anyone explain what could be happening? Is this normal? Midwife won’t reply to me 😞
on Monday I did a weights workout and walked quite a lot on the weekend so wondering if maybe I over exerted myself.
any reassurance would be greatly appreciated!!! (This is my first pregnancy, no previous MCs 🙏🏼) xxx

Hi I had bleeding at 14 weeks just red blood when I wiped, was on and off for a week. It was enough to terrify me. I previously had 2 miscarriages so was obviously very anxious. I have a early pregnancy walk in clinic near me and initially they couldn’t see a reason for the bleeding as baby looked happy on scan. I had a scan booked in the next week at fetal medicine due to previous Llez treatment and was supposed to have my cervix measured. Anyway to cut a long story short I have a low lying placenta which they say could have caused the bleeding and I am now on progesterone. I had placenta preavia with my 1st child and bleeding at 8wks. I’m 18wk now and baby is good and I can feel movement every day. Many things can cause bleeding but I would defo recommend relaxing especially if like me it’s a low lying placenta. If you can’t hold on to your 12wk scan try and find out If there is an early pregnancy unit you can go. Tbh they don’t usual worry about painless spotting as it is more common then many realise. Good luck and please let me know how you get on x

@Kcheey thank you for your reply! Sorry to hear about your 2 MCs 😞the red bleeding hasn’t come back but today some suuuuper light spotting, honestly barely there and some light cramping on my right side (no pain) I’ve heard that’s quite normal at 10 weeks. I have my first scan booked on 24th oct so quite a long wait and my midwife isn’t responsive 😒 wanted to avoid another private scan as they’re really expensive and don’t want to take A&E away from people who actually need it. Not sure what to do or if I should just relax and wait it out til the 24th? Thank you xxx

My advise is to hold out to your scan, I know it feels like ages away but it’s really not and you’ll find it a lot more reassuring. Your midwife will not be concerned about spotting and light cramping as it’s very common. If you start bleeding heavy and in lots of pain then go to A&E or goggle if your local hospital has an early pregnancy unit. Just try and relax and stay positive, if you have any other pregnancy symptoms like morning sickness, sore boobs then these are good signs although they do tend to calm down around this time anyway. Please let me know what happens x

@Kcheey my midwife finally reached out and advised I go to the EPU, I went this morning to get a scan and all was good! I feel so relieved. Apparently I had a small hematoma from the baby implanting further and nothing of concern. Thank you for you messages of reassurance ❤️
