Hello, I was just wondering if anyone had been in a similar position and may be able to advise.
My blood type is rhesus negative. During my pregnancy they established from 8 week bloods that my baby was rhesus positive so rhesus incompatabilty was present.
Following an abdomen impact I had an anti d injection at around 26 weeks pregnant. Then when they took my bloods at 28 weeks they detected anti d antibodies. However they couldn't tell whether this was from teh anti d injection I had a few weeks prior or my own maternal response. I had 2 weekly blood tests until the end of my pregnancy and although no action was required anti d antibodies were continously detected uo unti I delivered at 39 weeks. However I never knew what my titer levels were to know if they increased/decreased/stayed the same as my midwife said she couldn't access this information (I am trying to obtain this still but 10 months pp now.)
Therefore my question is does anyone know how you can establish if the anti d antibodies are from the injection or my own maternal reponse. Would it only be if they had reached a certain titer level or would it be if they could no longer be detected in my system after x amount of time?
