Pregnant straight after miscarraige

had a miscarriage just over 3 weeks ago was very early in on In pregnancy
just over a week after miscarriage I got a negative test

fast forward 3 weeks I am definitely pregnant again positive test, tender breast, metallic taste in mouth.

anyoen been through this and can share any experiences? Thank you 🙏 xxx

firstly Sorry for you loss and congrats on your pregnancy 💕

symptoms come and go and it’s totally normal, I’ve not had much sickness but symptoms do fluctuate in early pregnancy I know it’s easy to worry and have anxiety but just have to go with the flow and believe that everything will be ok.

somedays I have just tender breasts other days I feel sick dizzy tired it’s so strange

are you booked in with midwife?

Yes! I booked in with my midwife a couple days after testing positive using the online service (my pregnancy notes) because I had bright red spotting! I wanted it to be on record, if it did end in another loss. Luckily I had a scan last Thursday and all looked good - I even saw the heartbeat! 💗

My booking appointment is on Tuesday but I don’t have the 12 week scan date yet. Are you all booked in?

Symptoms wise- my boobs were incredibly sore this morning, nearly brought me to tears, they wear off during the day though.
Little bit crampy, back ache and pains when I cough or sneeze, this morning had me doubled over!
Extremely tired too but that could be as I'm still unwell.

How are you getting on?

@Snowflakes2 well that sounds like promising symptoms 😊have you done a test since?

mine are the same wake up in the morning really sore wear off in the day then back again

other than that ok midwife next week xx

i miscarried exactly 2 weeks ago and I’m ready to try again. I did get positive ovulation test around day 10 but I was still spotting a bit. Will start trying today. Any tips?

I didn't ovulate until CD21 (counting cycle day 1 as first day of red m/c bleeding). Luckily we conceived again straight away. I have no advice but wanted to wish you luck! 🍀 🤞🏻

I'm OK thanks @Kber30 . Still got this mystery illness, not covid but I have lost my sense of smell!!
I'm extremely dizzy these past couple days, not sure if it's pregnancy or ill?!
Also hungry very hungry 😆

I had my midwife appointment yesterday just standard questions but couldn’t take bloods as I’m not 8 weeks yet. By my understanding I am 6 weeks 5 days.

how far along are you roughly?

yea hunger is a pain literally feel nauseous when I eat and then when I don’t eat,I’m so happy you have a scan coming along for you I have my fingers crossed for you xx

Thank you, I literally cant wait!! I booked in at an EPU they were lovely and happy to scan me. I know I will cry once I'm there just out of nerves but I hope its good news. I think I'm 6 weeks today.

I havnt got in touch with midwife yet I'm quite scared of jinxing it again but il see how I feel next week.

Good old morning sickness has hit me hard this morning 🤮 im not complaining though!

my midwife appointment went fine I’m 7 weeks today going back next week for bloods and urine sample she wouldn’t do it because it’s standard practice at 8 weeks apart from that all was well

so sickness has kicked in now? I have huge urges of feeling sick but not actually sick it’s awful,sorest boobs in the world apart from that ok.

Ah I didn't know that about being 8 weeks for bloods, I honestly feel like a new parent. Glad it went all OK. 7 weeks, amazing. Are you feeling OK within yourself? Are you more relaxed now?
Have you told your other children yet?

I found this morning if I take it easy and have something to eat first I have managed to keep it down but constant nausea and dizziness. I do remember the constant nausea in my last 2 pregnancies.
Yes the sore boobs!! Wow they are unreal, huge and so sore.

I'm certainly not complaining about any symptoms though but it is effecting my everyday life as I just want to sleep 😆 plus still unwell so not helping anything.

Well I am only dating from my miscarriage and the midwife also dated pregnancy from that also so 7 weeks until dating scan, that’s also booked in for the 6th December

I'm feeling a little more relaxed as weeks go on as didn’t make it this far last time but I’ll feel better once seen baby on the screen I think.

thats exactly what I do, eat and drink before get up in the morning my partner is pretty good at doing that for me I find some marmite and toast and a cup of tea seems to help lol

yes the only horrible symptoms are the sickness and the boobs, I can’t even turn over in bed seem to be worst at night and first thing in morning but yeah for sure who are we to complain as long as all well and good 🥰

No not yet! My symptoms started to disappear last night and woke this morning with no sickness amd barely sore boobs and iv had mild back ache all day.
Doesn't sound good does it? Iv been worrying all day.

@Snowflakes2 don’t panic symptoms come and go one day my boobs are soooo sore the next day they are not, believe me they will fluctuate loads.

you’re one step closer to seeing baby and hopefully the worry will subside slightly xx

This is what Google also says but my resting heart rate is going down just like last time. I cant stop crying. I know there's nothing I can do until my scan but it's so hard I'm not coping at all.
I suffer with anxiety anyways and it's just heightened this even more I just can't relax since my positive test.
Sorry to moan when I'm sure you will also be feeling similar xx

If baby is OK I think I might need a word with the doctor or something as this feeling of doom is not going anywhere and I really want to enjoy this pregnancy (if it happens) knowing its my last x

@Snowflakes2 you’re going to pick up any negativity because of what’s happened, but how I think of it is no bleeding no cramps, and I have got further then last time. It’s a start.
I totally relate to you I know how anxious worrying stressful and everything else it is I promise I do but remember how there is nothing we can do to prevent anything, I sit for hours too scared to even do to much incase anything bad happens, I go to the loo and I’m constantly checking for bleeding etc,
just focus and breath just get to your scan and all will be well with knowing for sure 💕 don’t think so far ahead take a day at a time and each day goes by you’ve got through it’ xx
