@Mummyme32 thats how I’m beginning to see things, a new pregnancy a new start in a way 💕 I’m so happy for you that you have a healthy baby on the way and good luck 🤞

that’s also so true exactly how I feel. What’s meany to be will
be basically.

i have one tender breast but also had that with miscarriage, metallic taste in mouth and started of with back ache, but with or without any miscarriage can have symptoms or very little so I’m just going to take it day by day and hopefully get to see baby on the screen in a couple months ❤️

@Snowflakes2 my miscarriage started the 12th bled for 4 days and negative week or so
later, I guess to put my LMP as my first day of bleed with miscarriage so 3 weeks 1 day but I’m very newly pregnant, how about you? X

OP posts:
Kber30 · 05/10/2022 18:03

@Snowflakes2 Don’t worry about back ache! Baby is just making self comfortable and body making room, it’s just bleeding really or bad pain keep an eye on but hey let’s have hope that everything will be fine 💕

AnnieEva · 05/10/2022 18:04

Yes. He’ll be 16 this coming December.
All the best, OP.

Snowflakes2 · 05/10/2022 18:05

Bled on the 16th September for 3 days and got a negative on the 19th.
Nope no period, this is all very exciting we are practically the same!
I'm so scared though, are your symptoms the same? I have backache like last time and one sore boob just at the side whereas last time I couldn't move without them both hurting.
So im also very newly pregnant, what's going on!! x

Kber30 · 05/10/2022 18:06

Sorry to her about your loss also @ShellUK09 so happy to hear your little girl is strong and thriving 🥰🌈 it’s such a worrying time with the good and bad regardless, just feel like I am floating at the mo just hoping as each day comes I get through another day, I have. A 9 year old and don’t remember any worry as such before but it’s really opened my eyes up to the reality of pregnancy now going through a miscarriage. I may be eager to book an early scan around the 9 week mark also, how was your experience with an early scan? Xx

OP posts:
Kber30 · 05/10/2022 18:07

@AnnieEva thank you, brings me so much hope xx

OP posts:
Kber30 · 05/10/2022 18:12

@Snowflakes2 so you most certainly did went through the same thing as me
Around the same time so it’s comforting in a way! So strange not long ago you was hoping and now you’ve received your BFP 💕 yes had some Lower back pain and my right boob is tender not so much the left boob, been pregnant befire and both hurt but just the one for now, strange.

metallic taste in my mouth really bad but other than that no other symptoms but just with being so early on I guess there’s loads of Time
and even still every pregnancy is different and may not get as did before. Please keep in touch and let me know how you get on and I have my fingers crossed for you xxx

Snowflakes2 · 05/10/2022 18:17

I know! I think your thread prompted me to test aswel.
Also my husband (TMI) said I smelled different.
I never worried with my other 2 children but this time around I'm a nervous wreck.
I have my fingers crossed for you too xx

Kber30 · 05/10/2022 18:23

Know exactly what you mean, so happy for you and all the best to. I’m sure every thing will
be ok. 🌈 xxx

My first pregnancy ended in miscarriage - I didn’t get pregnant for 3 months afterwards as the Doctors advised against it because I ended up having to have a surgical management. But the next pregnancy was my now 2 year old :)

I’ve been pregnant again too and unfortunately miscarried in August at around 6/7 weeks. I’m now pregnant again about 5 weeks, so totally feel you, it’s a different kind of pregnancy after miscarriage. The crazy early pregnancy hormones certainly don’t help!

The odds are absolutely in your favour - fingers crossed for you and get your feet up as much as possible/be kind to yourself xx

ShellUK09 · 05/10/2022 20:00

@Kber30 ah thank you, it was my first pregnancy so I had nothing to compare it to, and it may be my only pregnancy. It definitely changes your experience when you have suffered a loss though, I didn't want to get excited for a while. The early private scan was brilliant and it really calmed me down, as soon as I went in she said there's the heartbeat and I immediately felt such relief. I also got a video of her and many pics sent directly to my phone after the appointment. I went back for a gender scan at week 16, mainly so I could feel more attached to the baby and to see if the 20 week NHS scan was right (it was!) Check out the reviews of private scan places near you, it is worth it for the peace of mind although I was so worried beforehand, it only takes away the worry for that day but that was enough for me. Really hope everything goes well for you and you are right to take things a day at a time and try not to stress, easier said than done I know x

Hrf1503 · 05/10/2022 21:32

I’m so sorry for your loss. I miscarried at 6 weeks back in June and got pregnant again straight away too (without a period in between). I’m now 17 weeks pregnant and all going well so far.

The first trimester was so stressful for me worrying about it happening again and “loo trauma” terrified I’d see blood every time I went to the toilet. Also I did have some early bleeding with this pregnancy which was terrifying but I went to the EPU and they put me on progesterone (its been shown to help women who have bleeding in pregnancy after a previous miscarriage so if you do get any bleeding it doesn’t necessarily mean another miscarriage - phone your EPU straight away). I later got diagnosed with a subchorionic hematoma and all is fine now it cleared up without more bleeding.

All the best for this pregnancy - do anything you need to help if you’re anxious and don’t be afraid to be excited (I’ve had a scan every 3 weeks or so and I’ve stayed off discussion boards from other people worrying about miscarriage as it triggers me). Each week gets easier. Congratulations ☺️

Kber30 · 06/10/2022 08:37

@Steffyy so sorry for your loss and what you had to go through 😔
it’s such a mix of emotions at all times anyway just a lot harder after any loss. Feeling optimistic though and in high hopes very much so trying to take it easy also.

happy to hear you got your rainbow 🌈 thank you for your well wishes xxx ❤️

Kber30 · 06/10/2022 08:39

@ShellUK09 thank you so much and so glad everything went ok for you
what you have said about early scans have really made my decision on it and I will certainly be looking into it, obviously with caution but excited to approach this for sure ❤️

it’s such a worrying time but so out of my control and all I can do is try to relax and take each day as it comes,

thank you so much 💕

@Hrf1503 sorry for your loss too 🦋 and good luck with your pregnancy so glad everything is ok so far also 💕

its comforting to hear about others with similar experiences.

how did you date how far along you were or did you just wait for dating scan? I know you said you had scans every 3 weeks, did you mention you’d like progesterone? I’ve heard of this but not quite familiar with it, you’ve obviously had to deal with a lot.

i understand you have took
Your self away from pregnancy chat,

all the best to you ❤️

OP posts:
Hrf1503 · 06/10/2022 09:33

@Kber30 I actually started tracking my ovulation straight away again (LH test and body temp) so I knew when I’d ovulated but they dated me at the scan I had at 7 weeks - I had one at 5 weeks too because of the bleeding but it was too early to date accurately they just checked the pregnancy was in the right place. Yes I called the EPU and asked for the progesterone as had read about it (but I think they only gave it to me because of the bleeding, different hospitals take a different approach but the NICE guidelines say it was only shown to help if you had bleeding and a miscarriage).

It sounds like it’s going well for you so far, let us know how you get on ☺️

Snowflakes2 · 08/10/2022 10:17

How are you getting on @Kber30 ?

I'm getting back ache very similar to last time. I'm not coping very well, can't stop thinking the worst!

Wish I never tested to be honest x

Kber30 · 08/10/2022 10:25

@Snowflakes2 ive been meaning to message you to see how your getting on.

back ache is really common I know how much anxiety it can cause, I’ve had back ache on and off especially with walking to standing, sore breast here and there sort from that nothing else

last time with MC I had an achey pain in belly
the whole time, this time nothing much atall every pregnancy can be so different just try to relax as much as you can and have hope however hard that is.

have you had any other symptoms? Remember little or loads of symptoms doesn’t mean anything bad at all.

thank you for commenting as Been thinking of you also X

OP posts:
Kber30 · 08/10/2022 10:26

@Snowflakes2 have you done a test since?

i did a clear blue digital and it came back with 2-3 weeks X

OP posts:
Snowflakes2 · 08/10/2022 11:13

Great that you done a clear blue im getting one next week. Iv got some cheap ones coming today. I done one on Thursday morning which was slightly darker than Wednesdays.

Boobs are a little bit sore, more on one side.
Some light cramping and yesterday woke up with the room spinning.
Back ache is when I start walking or standing for long periods.

I tell myself to be rational but it's not working 🙈

Glad your coming along well x

Snowflakes2 · 08/10/2022 11:46

Also does that mean your actually 4-5 weeks pregnant because don't you add 2 weeks on?
