Reassurance 3rd baby movement

I'm 18 weeks pregnant with my 3rd baby and still haven't felt movements, starting to feel anxious about it 😔

Last Monday at my midwife appointment the midwife found baby's heartbeat straight away, but I'm just on pins wondering when movements will start.

Is the placenta at the front? I felt my third from 15 weeks, I had a placenta at the front for the first two and it was a totally different experience
If the placenta is at the front I can totally see why you would be nervous

I haven't been told the placenta is at the front, it never was in my other pregnancies.

My 20 week scan isn't until 17th October 😩

I didn't know the placenta was at the front until my 20 week scan. It doesn't cause any problems as long as it's not low, but makes it harder to feel baby.

@Nejnej2 did you still feel movement just not as obvious? I don't know whether to call epu and speak to someone, to ease my anxiety about it as my 20 week scan seems ages away 😔

This is my first so nothing to compare to, and I know they say FTM feel later. I'd had definite movement by my 20w scan, think I'd only had suspicious gas (as my husband termed it lol) at 18w.
It must be much more nerve racking when you've felt earlier before. Always worth ringing your midwife, but the good heartbeat last time is really reassuring.

@Nejnej2 Ah okay, thank you 😊 will definitely keep an eye on things this week.
