No M ovement at 18weeks

Hey!

I'm 18weeks 2days pregnant with my first baby.

People keep asking me if I've felt any movement/flutters yet and my response is no. Everyone is saying they felt something by now which is scaring me

I know everybody is different but I can't help but worry now.

I haven't yet had my letter through for my 20week scan either and I'm starting to get impatient.

Well all pregnancies are different but I was about 20/21 weeks when I felt the first movement.

You might not feel movements up to 24 weeks with your 1st pregnancy. It also depends on the position of the placenta as well.
I felt movements at 21 weeks with my 1st and 17 weeks with my second.

I didn't feel a thing til 21 weeks and even then nothing regular/daily until about 24weeks so dont panic! People were asking me if I felt anything yet from 16wks onwards so I know it puts you on edge but honestly it is totally normal x

I missed over 1 week of baby kicking because I didn't know what I was feeling were kicks. In the beginning it was like a tapping on my hip. A bit like a heartbeat

I first felt movement at 19 weeks
