Hi everyone, I’m in need of reassurance. We’ve been TTC for over 3 years and found out I was pregnant 4 days ago. According to my last period, I’ll be 5 weeks pregnant on Monday. I’m struggling to accept that I’m pregnant and feel overwhelmed with worry that something is going to go wrong! I’ve been testing every day and the lines don’t seem to be getting darker.. should they be darker than this at 5 weeks?

I found it was much harder to see the line getting darker on those tests in comparison to First Response. Also, do you have longer cycles? If so you could be less than 5 weeks as that’s based on a 28 day cycle. Fingers crossed for you OP

Your HCG levels go up every 48 hours.
Your best testing every other day.
Look at the difference from the top to bottom line.

I do think that's good line progression.

Congrats

It's already been said but I also found that the cheaper strip tests don't show progression as well as FRERs do. They should be compared over a 48 hour period rather than daily, as that's how long hCG takes to double.
