Hi, I’ve been trying for a baby for 6 months now and my periods are like clock work, 25 days each time since coming off the pill in April. I’m 4 days late and testing negative, anyone had the same and turns out they are pregnant? I’m so deflated and keep feeling like I’m going to have a period but nothing comes. Me and my partner had sex around a week ago and noticed spotting on him but no period came. I have noticed white discharge also over the last few days

Thank you for your message, I still haven’t had my period, I’m now 7 days late. Testing negative and just got a uti 😭 doctors don’t want to know. I was also going to get tested for endometriosis as my periods are painful and heavy. 🤞🏼 For baby dust

When I came off my pill I had a few months like clockwork and then my period just vanished for 3 months. Super frustrating because no one was overly concerned as obviously there is an adjustment when you stop your pill and they can be all over the shop for up to a year. Not the news you're wanting to hear I'm sure. I was crawling the walls the entire time as I've always been regular and was only on the pill for a fee months as an interim plan after my coil was dislodged 😏 you just have to try and keep going

rubygiz · 07/10/2022 12:00

@Kirstyhannah92 when did you last poas

Kirstyhannah92 · 07/10/2022 12:12

3 days a go, I don’t want to keep doing it and deflating myself

I thought the adjustment was the first 6 months? 😞

Like most things it depends on the person, it's different for everyone. Some people never have any irregular periods when they stop it others can for a long time. I mentioned it more as a warning that if you speak to your gp they may be dismissive because of it, but if you feel something isn't right then keep at them. They also generally wouldn't investigate until its been 3 months too as they will keep telling you that it just happens sometimes and isn't unusual. Even though I said in the almost 25 years I've been having periods this has never happened to me. But there is also the fact that not everyone produced hcg at the same rate, some much slower, some people's ovulation can fluctuate more than they realise and it take longer between then and implantation.
Don't lose hope, you're not out until AF arrives. But I definitely know the frustration you're feeling.

Thank you for being reassuring. My doctors are useless with lady problems. When I had a cyst on my ovary they tried covering it up with pain killers. Only because I got on at them that I got a referral! My cyst had cleared up hence why I came off my pills and decided now was the right time. I’ve said for years to the doctors I think something is wrong because I was put on the pill at 12 for painful periods! I’m sure I have endo
