Hi all, did anyone have any success with letrozole when they were ttc even though they had regular-ish periods already? We have been trying for a year (1 early miscarriage in Jan) and all test results are normal. I am about to start 2.5mg and would love to hear any success stories….

Hi, we have been ttc for 2 years. I had bloods and hse and my partner had sa. Partner sa normal, it come back I had pcos. I have regular but longer cycles usually 40 days, I was taking ovulation tests which was showing I was ovulating. I was given Letrozole by fc. I got pregnant on the first cycle but unfortunately mc at 7 weeks. I’m not waiting for my periods to come back and just hoping it will work again for me. Good luck 😉

Hi OP. I have PCOS but regular cycles, no other issues and no male factor problems. Had 2 early losses this year pre 6 weeks. Started Letrozole for a monitored cycle with scan + hcg trigger + progesterone pessaries last cycle (September) and am currently 6+1 pregnant. Obviously very early days and don’t know what has previously caused MCs so I’m cautious but the letrozole definitely worked and helped target ovulation (we only did the bd twice last month precisely after the hcg trigger) - my hcg levels (from multiple bloods) have been much higher than before etc. Too. It has certainly worked in accurately conceived for me as although regular periods tracking ovulation was v hard with pcos. Good luck on your journey!
