When did your pregnancy nausea stop?

I'm currently 11+2 and my sickness has eased off a lot. It was terrible at week 9 and 10 and I was prescribed anti sickness tablets. But my anxiety ridden brain is now worried that it's wearing off and whether that could indicate a bad thing? I had a previous miscarriage so obviously always worrying 😩🤦🏼‍♀️

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Mine went on until 19 weeks when I went to the GP for anti-nausea meds. I wish I'd done it sooner!

Sorry - I realised that's probably not very reassuring!

With my DD it eased off before my 12-week scan. Every pregnancy is different.

About 12 weeks both times, but definitely got better from around 10 weeks.

Also, according to various studies I've read, 9-10 weeks is the time when most women's morning sickness peaks so it's quite normal for it to be improving once you get past that.

34 weeks and still sick and nauseated

Sadly as I gave birth, I realised I wasn't feeling sick anymore about an hour after the delivery.

I woke up one morning around 10 weeks and felt so much better, I was really worried something was wrong but thankfully everything was fine

Honestly it was past the 20 week stage then just stopped. Can be any time really, unfortunately.

HiKelsey · 01/10/2022 11:01

I had hyperemesis so mine was all 9 months 😅

But normally they say by week 12 then all the other fun symptoms start like the constant needing to wee, back pain and restless legs on a night, insomnia x

Allmarbleslost · 01/10/2022 11:08

14 weeks for me

BerriesOnTop · 01/10/2022 11:10

12 weeks it lessened but really took until 14 weeks to feel normal again. Feels never-ending when you are in the thick of it

annlee3817 · 01/10/2022 12:43

Symptoms can lessen when the placenta takes over around 10/11 weeks, mine eased up at that point, then came back with a vegance at 12 weeks and went completely at 14/15 weeks

Betsyboo87 · 01/10/2022 19:42

It started tail off at around 10 weeks with both pregnancies. With my first I panicked at the loss of symptoms, with my second it was complete relief! I also found I had a lot more energy again.
