Queasy + phobia about body/pregnancy/birth

So I’ve always been like this since I can remember.. When I was 11 and having the period and sex edu talk in school I got so lightheaded and nauseous that I got sick and then fainted in front of everyone 😵‍💫 But since then (32 now) it doesn’t affect me day to day and I even went through fertility treatments and was able to cope with that fine.

But.. now I’m 10.5 weeks pregnant and I feel this phobia(?) has come back in full force. Hearing words like uterus or cervix make me lightheaded and knowing all of these bodily changes are happening has me completely freaked out.

Has anyone ever heard of such a thing? Or have any advice for me to get through the rest of my pregnancy in one piece? I have no idea how I’m going to get myself ready for the next 7 months + birth while being a first time mum, and I’m starting to feel like this is a real problem 🤢

Will also ask my midwife but I won’t see her for ages so thought I’d check here first x

This was me op. To the point l considered a termination but told myself to get a grip.
Nothing anyone said made me feel any better.
I nearly passed out in mothercare at the thought of it all
Wasted my whole pregnancy worrying about childbirth and ended up with a c section and recovered very quickly.
Tell your midwife how you are feeling - birth phobia is a thing.
Congratulations on the pregnancy xx
