Anyone had covid during pregnancy and have any suggestions on what to do or how to feel a bit better. Was ur baby fine after you had it also? I'm 21 weeks and worried Incase anything happens to baby

You need to inform your midwife so they can assess if you need blood thinning injections as covid can cause dangerous blood clots.
Keep drinking plenty of water and moving about as much as you can manage at home.
If you've had your jabs then you and baby will almost certainly be fine after a week or 2, hope you're feeling better soon

I’ve had covid for a week now, currently 15 weeks pregnant. Just wanted to say you’re not alone! I’m equally terrified about baby :( hopefully as you’re 21 weeks you can get some reassurance with a Doppler when you next see your midwife?

I was admitted last week as my temperature reached 40, they wanted to keep an eye on it and keep it as low as possible with paracetamol. Also gave me some extra fluids. That was it, really. As the other poster said they’ll want to check blood pressure etc due to clot risk.
