Hi

currently 25 weeks pregnant, i’m trying to work out if pregnancy related or if my bad posture and laying around too much is cause! I also have hypermobility. Gonna try make gp app next week

I’ve had no injury!

When I try turn over in bed I get this really sharp pain that lasts for few secs but turning over is definitely awful
The pain seems lower back/tailbone area
If I was to try lift leg in air - sounds silly I’d feel stiffness but this sharp pain would come on!
I get some relief laying on back
if I lay on my sides it hurts kind of and the pain goes up to upper back
laying hurts
sometimes sitting against things (chair) tailbone feels bruised

I would advise trying to sleep on your side with a pillow in between your legs and seeing your GP.

my back is aching a bit more but it’s not sharp pain more like a niggle after being on my feet most the day. I’m 27 weeks 😀

This is normal as your pelvis opens especially with hyper mobility. Go to an osteopath and/or deep tissue masseuse, get a support belt, do exercise especially squats etc to help it if you can.

@Garman Walking is now causing a lot of pain, gonna try find an osteopath and hope they treat pregnant woman as agony! Just hope this goes after pregnancy

I’m hoping this goes after pregnancy. How have you found it so far? Lol x
