Period 4 days late

Home test positive

Went to my doctor yesterday, did blood test, called back today saying he doesn’t think I’m pregnant HCG levels only 2. Could he be wrong? Instincts telling me pregnant. If period 4 days late shouldn’t I be 4 weeks pregnant now? HCG Level should be so much higher... so confused 😞

I think if a home test and drs test both coming up negative then you're likely not pregnant. I'm sorry if you're wanting to be pregnant, it's horrible when your period is late and it turns out not to be pregnancy when you want it to be

The home test was positive plus a missed period! Hence the confusion 🥺

Blood test is more accurate than a home test. Maybe do another home test in a few days and see if it is still coming up

Did the line on your pregnancy test come up within the time frame? The blue dye tests are notorious for indent lines if you look at them after the time. If you are 4 days late for a period a pregnancy test should show as positive any time of the day can you do another one?

I had such bad evap lines with these tests, I honestly thought I was pregnant and I wasn’t 😞 try a First Response Early Response, they seem to be pretty accurate 🤞🏻

Did the GP really do bloods because your period was 4 days late?

Hi guyz , I don't know if I've come to the right place but I'm in need of a little help so here we go😫

My last period start date was 24th Aug,which my calendar says I then ovulated on 6th sep me and me bf spend quite alot of "adult time" together all through the week and around the 13th I started having cramping alot .
Fast forward to my period due date which was 20th September, I was still getting cramping and now no and off breastpains/ nausea so I decided to take a PT which came back faint positive but because of the pains I was getting I decided to take a trip to a&e on the 22nd and the doctors PT came back negative so I came back home thinking I may of had a chemical .
I booked an appointment the following day with my doctor and he said I should test again and which I didn't till the 26th and it was a VERY STRONG POSTIVE YOU CANT MISS.
Still feeling abit uncomfortable i got up this morning 29th telling myself to go to a&e but then I thought let me just test again and so I did.......and now it's negative 😶 there's been no bleeding at all.
9days late
On and off breastpains/nausea
Sore ca
Crampy feeling along my bikini line
Abit off back pressure
Yellow dried sometimes creamy cm
insulin resistance pcos

1st pt-20th faint
2nd pt - 22nd doctors negative n/a
3rd pt- 26th strong
4/5pt - 29th negative

They both sound like chemical pregnancies.

I'm sorry op, sounds like a chemical pregnancy to me. If so, your period should start in the next few days. So sorry if you were trying

Unfortunately if you had a positive home test but by the time you went to the Dr's for bloods hcg was only 2 it's not looking very promising op all you can do is wait and see. Keeping my fingers crossed for you, assuming you are wanting this.

Yeah I would love to have another child but it's just that I've got more than one health complications and I feel as if they're all fighting against one another for example, I had a PE(bloodclot on lung )with my pregnancy before so I cannot take anything containing combined medicines and the other conceptions have really bad effects on me which I need to help with the pcos. I was also informed by doctors that if I even get pregnant again I would have to go on blood thinners for 3months again to prevent clots coming back.
Everthing is just very confusing for me atm.
