Hi ladies.

So I turned 16 weeks on Tuesday with my second baby. Since about 14 weeks I have felt movement and for the last week I’ve felt fluttering everyday up until yesterday. I didn’t feel anything for the whole day yesterday. Still haven’t felt anything this morning.
Ive got my 16 week check up midwife appointment tomorrow.
Do you think I should wait and just let midwife know this there?
I am still so early and lucky to be feeling movement at all, I know movement can be pretty inconsistent up until the third trimester so am I just hyper focusing on it too much?

If you're at all worried just call your midwife. They might say there's absolutely nothing to worry about and wait for tomorrow (most likely) and be much more reassuring than we can be as a medical professional. Or they'll get you in to double check. Either way you'll know. They would always rather you say something than not, it's not time wasting!

Thank you. I do not have a midwife and will see a different one every appointment up until I give birth. I’ve called early maternity unit a few times and can’t get through. Typical !

I would go to your hospital and get checked. They could Hopefully listen in with a Doppler. I know it's early but if you've felt consistent movement and now not I think they'd understand your worry. Most likely baby has just turned inward so you can't feel but good to put your mind at rest 🙂

Thank you ladies for your answers. I spoke to midwife who said not to be concerned at all for now.
