Braxton Hicks... curious

I'm just curious on peoples thoughts/experiences.

I barely experienced any braxton hicks with my first and when I did they were quite mild. This time I've been having them since 19 weeks (currently 28 weeks) which seems mad early to me. Midwife said it can be normal but keep an eye if theres a pattern etc.

Does feeling them earlier/more often indicate chances of a prem labour or show how labour may or may not go? I was induced last time so no idea how far over I would have gone. It would be nice if everyone said it's an indication of a 37 week labour but I know that won't be the case 🙈

With my son 6 years ago I started getting them at 20 weeks.. he was born at 40+5. They were very strong.

Im now 32 weeks with baby number 2 and I’ve been wagering these for only the past couple of weeks. These are not as strong as the ones with my son.

I had BH constantly from about 20 weeks and had to be induced at 40+10 so certainly didn't help bringing on labour for me- sorry! My uterus was 'irritable' during my induction though and the pessary hyperstimulated it so I contracted like crazy straight away, still didn't help me dilate any quicker though!

I had BH at around 14/15 weeks and my son arrived 6 weeks early

None with dc1 or 2.
Some with 3 around due date and she was induced at 42wks.
4 and 5 had from at least 20wks. Again induced.

So for me it didn't have any link... sadly. I had very quick 2hr labours once induced though so perhaps that's something.

I got them from 35 weeks with DS1 and was induced at 38 weeks.

Been getting them since 31 weeks with DD. They peaked at 35 weeks then I had around 10 days of hardly any BH and they've started up again in the last 3 days. Currently 37+5 weeks. Due to be induced at 39 weeks. I was hoping that BH would help her come earlier but nope, she's quite content in there 😩

Ironically I did have a lot of BH this time and delivered last week at 37+2! I can't remember having as many for as long with my first pregnancy, which also ended in induction but this time around I had them several times a day for at least a couple of months

Ah thanks for giving me all your experiences ladies! I guess it's just a case of wait and see 😅
