Hi
I am not having any pregnancy symptoms. I haven't got my app yet as I am only around 6 weeks. I'm concerned, I want confirmation of my pregnancy. I called up a private clinic and they said if I was 8 weeks then they could do the early scan. I found that strange coz I have read so many people have did early scans when they were 5 or 6 weeks. I'm worried. I don't want to stress. Any advice? Shall I just stay calm and wait for my app coz I don't have any cramps at all or bleeding. Maybe I'm just worrying for nothing.

Hello! It's relatively normal not to have symptoms at 6 weeks, you may find they hit more in a week or two or you may be a lucky one and not get stuff like nausea and sickness!
In the UK you don't get a scan on NHS (usually) till around 12/13 weeks unless there is spotting or pain. So very common for people not to see pregnancy/ baby till then.
If you are anxious perhaps book the private scan for when you are 8 weeks. It's best to wait till this time as more likely they can see what is going on. That's only 2 weeks to wait.
I had zero symptoms until 6 weeks when nausea hit, then around 7 weeks I started to spew regularly. But I know plenty who didn't feel sick at all. X

Hi @Princess2022, similar I am 7 weeks now and have had no symptoms at all. I went for a scan with the NHS at 6w4d and there was a little heart beat all fine. I think every pregnancy is different and as pp said it’s not usual to not have symptoms this early.

So I say sit tight and stop worrying. However if you do want a private scan, most place do generally do it from 6 weeks. Although it’s not always far enough along to see anything.

Thank you Skylark1990 and Sallyh87 for all the advice 🙂

I think it's best for me to wait for my app letter.
