Heartbeat at 6 + 3 weeks pregnant ?

I’m 6 + 3 weeks today and I started spotting in the night. It only seems to be when I go for a wee and wipe at the moment but is bright red blood. I did have some sharp pains on my left side this morning too.
It’s an IVF pregnancy so the clinic have said to go in for a scan today, my viability scan isn’t suppose to be for another 6 days so I’m just wondering if anyone knows the likelihood if everything is ok of there being a heartbeat today?
I’m dreading the thought of them not being able to tell me much and having to wait 6 days not knowing which way this will go.

If the dates are certain there's a good chance you'll see a heartbeat. I had a TV scan at 6+4 due to spotting and there was a heartbeat visible within seconds. But try not to be too disheartened if it's not visible, might be in a day or two! Hope everything goes well 🙏

@MariaMc1 I went for an early scan and was dated 6 + 1 and saw a heartbeat. Best of luck ⭐️
