Light spotting?

Hey, I've just found out on Saturday I'm pregnant with Baby no 2. I'm so excited and I new straight away because I had instant symptoms that I'd experienced the first time. So I did an early clear blue test and I was right, it's positive. I'm just about 4 weeks, so really early yet. But I've just had a little light spotting, I never had this this with DD. How do I know the difference between early pregnancy light spotting and if I'm miscarrying?

Hi @mumsygreenz, this is my 4th pregnancy, no living children unfortunately, I just got a positive yesterday, quite a strong positive, I had a miscarriage 4 weeks ago so no idea what is going on but I’m spotting too, I just have fell instantly. With my last miscarriages I had light cramps and spotting that got heavier then my flow got heavy. I’ve had my beta done today to check if viable pregnancy and it came back at 218. Maybe request bloods and if it doubles in 48 hours your fine. Hope this helps. X
