Can you be on antivirals (aciclovir) and have a c section?

anyone know if zoviax interacts with the epidural injection? I ask this due to wanting to take antivirals to prevent herpes obs near my birth time...even though I'm getting a section I have opted to take antivirals incase I do go I to Labour naturally early and would want to know I'm on them just in case. does it affect the c section in any way? I know certain drugs such as ibuprofen are a no no with a section/ epidural

no there’s no interaction. Most elective sections are done with spinal rather than epidural anaesthetic. Ibuprofen/diclofenac are also routinely used in sections.
