So I had a scan today at 35+5 and have AFI 40cm excess fluid, I think deepest pool was 18cm, no known problems with me or baby, he is estimated 6lb 5oz at present.
Decided to book elective section for 14th October as I'm also small and getting rather uncomfortable, due to so much fluid baby is not settling into any position and my mum has history of stillborn babies.
To top it off I came home and done a covid test as I felt a bit ropey and I now have covid!
Anyone else had this much fluid and what was the outcome when baby was born? Tips for recovering from c section? And any experiences with covid 😂
