DD has beem unwell and very clingy and she accidently elbowed me at the top of my bump between my breasts today, quite hard and it hurt. i did try and feel after and think the baby was lower down but hard to tell at this stage (am 31 wks).

Im not mad at dd as it was truely and accident she was just trying to get really, really close like do and has been amazed and disapointed that my lap has disapeared in the past few weeks, so pls no posting on discipling her.

Part of me thinks its fine the purpose of amniotic fluid etc but am scared deep down baby will be born damaged somehow.

Try not to worry they are well protected in there, your baby will be fine but if you have any worries go and see your midwife.

When I was around 33 weeks pg, the cleaning lady at work rammed her trolley into my bump (accidentally i should add!). It hurt and I did worry but all was fine, they are very well protected in there. I'm sure your bump will be totally fine, but if you want reassurance then no harm calling your mw in the morning.

Just check, if you are a rh neg blood group, tell your midwife what happened asap!
otherwise more of a worry than anything else.

not rhesus neg luckily!

thanks everyone am feeling bit better, am seeing midwife next week so will mention it but dont think i need to go in for monitoring or anything as aby has been doing acrobatics since i posted this thread after being unusually quiet this afternoon while i worried, typical isnt it!
