Hi all I wonder if some of you can share your experiences please. I am currently in my 1st trimester with baby no 2 and I'm really worried because I'm yet to experience nausea or sickness. With my son I was sick everyday from 4 weeks right up until giving birth & multiple times a day, with my son I also got hospitalised on a drip. All I'm experiencing this time around is headaches and heartburn.

I wonder if anyone has had the same?

Hiya, I had pretty severe HG with my first pregnancy so I was interested in the same for if we go for a second. I spent lots of time reading threads on forums like this and have to say quite a lot of women have had HG with the first but not the second, and vice versa. This is the anecdotal aspect of it. The official statistics paint a different picture - I think 98% or something of previous HG sufferers get it again? So I suppose you don't know until you know... Keeping my fingers very tightly crossed for you to not get it this time around!

Pregnancy 1: Hyperemesis - Healthy baby
Pregnancy 2: Hyperemesis so bad I was hospitalised - Mc at 17 weeks
Pregnancy 3 - Some mild sickness throughout first trimester, nothing since - currently 20 weeks with a healthy baby

(The mc was not linked to the Hyperemesis)
