First day of Cyclizine and exhausted

I'm hoping others who have taken this might have some advice. I am 7 weeks and started taking cyclizine yesterday evening for bad nausea, I was so pleased the doctor prescribed it as I really thought they'd just tell me to get on with it.
Last night I fell asleep on the sofa at 8.30 as I felt so tired and this morning I am really struggling to keep my eyes open. I have a 2 year old to look after so obviously this isn't very safe. I have never felt exhaustion like it.
Does anyone know if it will get better as I get used to the medication? It has helped with the nausea amazingly as that was also stopping me do anything I needed to do (couldn't cook dinner/go food shopping without retching constantly) but now I'm wondering if I should stop taking it as I'm so tired?

One of the side effects can be drowsiness. Go back to your GP and ask for something else if you are struggling to stay awake.

I found I was falling asleep mid morning for the first week of taking it but was ok after that.

Thanks @Purpleshoes13 , it's worked so well with the sickness though I'd like to try and stick with it as I don't know if other medication would work as well.

@Starling127 that's reassuring, I was hoping it would be a case of it getting better as my body got used to the medication.
