Period pains

I'm about 9 weeks pregnant with my second.
I've had pains in my stomach and lower back like the first day of your period level of pain since yesterday evening. It kept waking me up last night and I took some paracetamol at work this morning which took a while to help but the pain disappeared for a few hours.

The pain was becoming too much again so I took some more paracetamol at about 5:30 this evening and went to bed when my daughter did as I was starting to feel sick at 8pm. I woke up around an hour ago in so much discomfort and I took some more paracetamol about 10:30 which has yet to kick in.

I know there is a lot of stretching etc that goes on around now but surely it wouldn't cause this much pain. I can't get comfortable and I just feel like crying, I don't remember feeling like this with my daughter.

Can anyone offer any reassurance?

I'm reluctant to call anyone as my husband is out of the country until tomorrow afternoon and I don't have anyone to watch my 2 year old at this hour if I was asked to go to get checked. Don't want to cart her off somewhere to be told everything is fine.

With that much pain I would honestly call and/or go and get it checked out

I eventually got some sleep but woke again around 2:30am. I talked myself out of calling 111 at 3am.

I called the midwives this morning but no answer and you can't leave a voicemail. I've done an econsult with the GP. Pain isn't the same this morning and just feels a little niggley instead but I'm still worried
