Pregnancy Insomnia

Currently 29+1 and really struggling with insomnia. Not in any particular pain (although bump does make it hard to be comfy). Over the last 3 nights I’ve probably had about 10 hours sleep. Last night I managed none 🙃 I’m really tired but just can not sleep. I work part time and have a 3 year old so unable to nap in the day.

Any advice welcome!

Thank you

No advice but I'm in a similar situation. 30+ weeks now and it's been on and off throughout. Last night I was awake til half 2 and then got 30min snatches here and there until now. Got training at work today so been stressing about getting enough sleep which doesn't help!

Nytol!

Wingingit2019 · 26/09/2022 13:18

@BigSidLittleSid @Moomoo2o22 it’s awful isn’t it! I had no idea this was even a thing until recently as I slept well with my first pregnancy 😢. I was stressing about how much sleep I was going to get before my alarm that I didn’t actually manage to get any, it’s really getting me down!

I’m going to try Horlicks and a hot bath tonight then hope for the best 🥱. Hope you guys get a good night sleep tonight!

@thinkingcapon I didn’t realise I could take Nytol in pregnancy! Thank you

This is my fourth baby I never had this before though! I didn't realise you could have Nytol in pregnancy either, Horlicks and a hot bath are a good idea too. I hope you manage a good night tonight too!
