Ectopic pain

I am really paranoid right now about a possible ectopic pregnancy and I’ve started having some pain that’s freaking me out.
Long story short a scan on Friday showed nothing there so I was told it was an MC, which I fully expected as I had a big bleed the week before. But my pregnancy tests are still getting darker so my plan was to ring the epu tomorrow and tell them. This afternoon/evening I have started getting some pain. It’s not in my lower abdomen like you’d expect, it’s higher up but it is one-sided. It’s like a stich type pain, and it’s like in the bit where my waist goes in, and a bit down towards my hip. So I’m not sure if that’s what ectopic pain would feel like but it is starting to concern me. If I press around my abdomen there’s no other pain. I’ve not had any more bleeding for a week now so I thought the MC was over, but the progressing tests are throwing me off. I didn’t have any bloods done.
I was out drinking last night, due to thinking I was no longer pregnant, but hangovers don’t normally come with stitch like pain for me (could be my liver has taken a bashing!)

Either way I’m ringing the EPU in the morning, but I was hoping someone might come along and say it doesn’t (or unfortunately does) sound like typical ectopic pain.

I had an ectopic quite some time ago. Pain was in my lower back on one side, continuous almost burning like sensation but got gradually worse. Lots of people get shoulder tip pain with ectopics but I didn’t at all. The sign that should have been picked up was the watery brown bleeding that I’d seen my GP about. Unfortunately they were very dismissive and it wasn’t until the pain in my back was unbearable, I thankfully took myself to hospital. Whilst they were running tests to check my hcg levels and work out a treatment plan my tube burst and I had internal bleeding requiring emergency surgery.
