Do maternity thermals exist,?!

I can find every possible item of maternity clothing apart from thermals, with the exception of £35 thermal leggings at Seraphine. I used to buy thermals pre pregnancy for around £15 at m and s and they last years not months...
Any ideas welcome!.

Depending on your stage of pregnancy have you tried just sizing up a bit? I managed to wear not pregnancy leggings for my whole first pregnancy

I never wore pregnancy leggings, just tucked under the bump. Could you do that with thermals?

Geneticsbunny · 25/09/2022 21:03

I was so hot when I was pregnant I can't imagine anyone needing thermals! Might just be me though.

Weathergirl1 · 25/09/2022 21:58

I'd try up sizing from M&S!

Thank you @Loulou1712 @TolkiensFallow @Weathergirl1 that may be my only option. Maternity over the bump.leggingsnate so incredibly comfortable that I would love to continue but sizing up a lot might have to be the way to go. I feel like under bump would be awkward and normal leggings will presumably cut off half way up the bump which wont be as comfy but I could try it. As you say @Geneticsbunny I may not need them as will get so hot. That said, I'm planning on keeping the heating quite low/off this winter bc of the crazy energy prices. I wore thermals throughout winter while wfh in the pandemic and couldnt have made it without them. Also, after late October am going to be in 3rd trimester so will have to meet friends outside only bc of covid risk which is more of an issue in the 3rd trimester. Let's hope pregnancy overheating has one good use this winter!!!

I always wore leggings backwards towards the later end of pregnancy, perhaps that would do the trick?
They do have some maternity thermals on Amazon, or primark do super cozy leggings you could size up on?

LucyInTheSkyWithDiamond · 26/09/2022 09:12

I had winter babies and rarely put the heating on as I was constantly boiling. I think one pair of thermal leggings would be more than enough, or just wear more layers or wear your non maternity ones under bump
