Bleeding 1st trimester

I am just wondering if anyone has experienced anything similar please. Currently just found out I'm pregnant and awaiting for midwife to call to make 1st appointment going from my last period date I would be 9 weeks pregnant but I'm unsure I feel I could be between 6-9 weeks. I have experienced some bleeding tonight when I went to the toilet, when I wiped there was blood on there red/pink not heavy amounts not a little amount but a in-between amount I have had a bit of backache and stomach pain not intense cramping but a period type of stomach pain. I am loosing my mind! I have called for advice and can't do anything I have to wait it out, I can get a early scan next week providing I am 9 weeks but if I'm 6 weeks then shouldn't be getting a scan. I have had a miscarriage in the past so I am very anxious and very paranoid! I do have a 8 year old son who I had after my miscarriage and this is the first time I've been pregnant since my son. I'm trying not to stress but the unknown is upsetting me so much. Has anyone experienced any sort of bleeding early on and everything been ok? I have been the toilet twice since the bleeding and it has been ok no blood there, I have put a sanitary pad on and will keep eye over night not sure if will stop or not. Any advice or similar stories would be much appreciated. Thank you so much!

I had 2 weeks of bleeding at around that timeframe, and my cervix seemed open, so I thought I was losing the baby. That baby is now almost 2 and bright as a button. It's worth getting a reassurance scan to see what's going on

I had bleeding with all mine, actually more so with my successful pregnancies

I had this with my eldest. Mostly light pink spotting or tinges of red when wiping. I had one bleed where it was the start of a period and I thought the worst but a scan showed everything was ok. I had this random bleeding up until about 20 weeks.
They put it down to a cervical ectropion, which I think also explains why I was always called back to redo my smear tests due to blood in the sample.

Have two other pregnancies since and had no problems with bleeding.

I had a bleed like that in my first pregnancy and miscarried later that evening, but had very similar bleeding in my current pregnancy and I’m now 15 weeks. Call the EPU, if you have bleeding in early pregnancy and have had miscarriages before they should put you on progesterone which may help (I’ve been on it with this pregnancy). With this pregnancy I had a scan at 5 weeks after the bleed, there was no baby visible and no heartbeat but it was good to check it looked like it should and was in the right place and had a follow up 2 weeks later where I saw the heartbeat - so no reason you shouldn’t have a scan even if you’re 6 weeks. Hi I'm 11 weeks pregnant today. I'm having heavy bleeding from my 7th week onwards. I went for 2 scanning and no reason was found for the bleeding. Even doctor examined my cervix but no problem with that also. Previously I had a miscarriage 2 years back. I'm taking progesterone tablets now vaginally. After started taking that the bleeding was not there for a while but started again from 2 days back. I'm really confused and depressed. Is there anyone experience the same situation. Please let me know
