I need some advice please. My nausea is so bad from the minute I wake up to the minute I go to sleep. I can't eat anything because the thought of food makes me feel ill. I also struggle to cook because of the smell of food. I when realised when I travel on the bus to get to work it intensifies like I have motion sickness. Is there anything I can do to take it?

Thanks! Smile

Eating little and often really helped me. I know you don’t feel like eating but go for something really bland like crackers. Just nibble away at it slowly even if it takes you 30mins. During my first pregnancy I barely ate but this time I have forced myself to and I feel much better for it. Hopefully it won’t last too long, mine started to fade at 10 weeks last time and it’s similar this time.

Hi 7 weeks here and it's just started kicking in the last week. I've been lucky that's it not constant but seems to come in waves and it's deffo worse thing thing when I wake up for work. I have to make myself eat breakfast even though I really don't want to but I also get really nauseous if I'm hungry.

I've been eating lots of crackers in between meals, I find salty things help too like plain crisps or toast and butter. Often craving orange juice too to counteract the salty ness but I imagine that might stop if I end up actually being sick.

It's a pretty miserable time for most it seems! I told my sister our news today. I really wanted to wait until 12 weeks but I just felt so much better knowing someone close knew I was suffering. We've got a family day on a boat tomorrow and I just don't know if I can do it but if I bail, I know my sister will understand why! Haha
