Unplanned third pregnancy

I haven't missed my period yet, so I have no idea if I'm really pregnant, but I do know my body, and it hates being pregnant.

With both previous babies, I struggled during the pregnancy. My body goes into mental mode; I throw up, have pains, headaches, and dizziness. I'm pretty sure my body thinks it's going into battle.

A week ago, I had stomach pains (I put it down to IBD) and sore boobs (I put this down to my 3-year-old always leaning on me with her elbows!) and thought nothing of it. But then I went to the loo and had a little bit of brown blood (like implantation bleeding), and it hit me. I'm very bloated, but that could be explained by overeating??? And I have been weeing non-stop, even more than usual! The only thing that makes me doubt whether I am is with my other two, I was nauseous from week 1, and so far, there has been nothing!

My period isn't due until the 2nd of September, so I have ages to wait. I'm just feeling impatient. I know we have to wait, but it's poop! 😆

I’m kind of in the same boat, I got a positive test yesterday, I currently have a 6m old baby!!!
although we weren’t actively trying we weren’t preventing, we’re adults we knew this could happen. Both of my previous pregnancies I’ve had severe Hyperemesis Gravidarum so I’m actually terrified. Think I’m going to ring my GP today as my head is currently in a spin! X

@Mamaoftwooo Oh blimey! How old is your other child? I don't know how people manage more than 1 small person at a time 😆

When we have DC2, DC1 was 6 and do most things for herself. It was still super tiring, I had forgotten all about sleep deprivation by then! This age gap would be 4 years between DC2 and the possible new baby. I'm always in awe when I see families with more than 1 little person 🙈

Have you had any sickness yet? They say that number 3 can be really different so I'll keep my fingers crossed for you 🍀

My eldest is 7! So big gap between her and our 6m old!
i haven’t had any sickness yet but my goodness I’m so anxious thinking about it and can’t speak to a GP until 3rd oct which isn’t miles away but feels it!

when are you planning on testing? X

What stage did the sickness start for you? With my other two it was week one, and I just knew. After DC1 I had sickness before my periods too which really used to mess with my mind! This time I have all the symptoms except the sickness which is why I'm apprehensive.

My period is due on the 2nd so I think I can test from Tuesday. I just had to speak with my pharmacist because I'm on quite a few medications that don't really mix well with pregnancy. They said as soon as I find out I need to make appointments with the GP and midwife because I'm a complicated case.. always nice to hear 😐

both times sickness started within a week of a positive test, my sickness was much worse with my second child so I’m so worried thinking it’s going to be even worse this time and I have a baby to care for too!

I can’t wait to speak to my GP even If I’m not already sick by then just to get something in place incase I get Ill fast.

please keep this post updated once you have done your test ♥️
