Brown discharge when I wipe after sex

Hello,

I’m around 10 weeks pregnant, possibly 10+2. I’ve had 2 previous miscarriages. The first one was a MM and the second one I started lightly bleeding at 8 weeks.

On Monday evening, my partner and I had sex and as soon as we had sex, I went to the toilet and weed and when I wiped and saw light pink blood in my discharge. After that, a few times a day (I’d say 4) I wipe after weeing and there’s brown in my discharge.

I’m super nervous about it and I’ve contacted the EPU who have booked me in for a scan in a few days.

Whenever I google it, it says it’s normalish but how long did the brown discharge stay for as it’s nearly been 48 hours now and I’m still getting it occasionally.

Didn’t want to read and run, but please try not to worry until you’ve had your scan.
With one of my 5 pregnancies I spotted until 14 weeks, it worried me massively and naturally I thought the worst when I first seen it, it turned out to be nothing other than normal pregnancy spotting.
Its when you see lots of fresh bright red blood that you need to start thinking something else.

When I’ve not been pregnant I’ve also had spotting after sex which turned out to be cervical ectropian, again nothing to worry about and can be completely normal for lots of pregnant and non pregnant women.

Glad you’re getting it checked but don’t panic just yet, it is actually quite common and often nothing to worry about
