Evap or positive

Is there such thing as evap lines?
never experienced before as a negative is always blank in my experience

I’m not due on for 7 days but was worried I experience implantation bleed as had some blood streaked mucus TMI

this test was taken and I’m not sure if it’s positive
my wee one is 7 months so this would be a big shock

please help

I’m not convinced. The line is thin and quite dark for 7 days before your period. Get a FRER to confirm.

Could be that you ovulated early, if you’re not tracking O with OPKs and BBT I’d put my money on you Ovulating earlier than expected this month.

Are you 100% sure on your dates? Looks very strong positive for 7 days before you’re due! Or could you have actually conceived last month and have mistaken the implantation bleeding for a period? Must be a huge shock with such a small baby, hope it all works out the way you want.

I definately had a period last month and it was a week late (28th august)
I only had the mucusy bleed last week and only like discharge (not actual bleeding)
I’m not sure how it all works with dates etc

Given that you’re not a year post partum your cycles probably haven’t returned to normal, your being late last month (probably because of delayed ovulation) could in turn make the next cycle have an early ovulation.

Evap lines do exist and I know CLearblue can be notorious for it, best thing to do is do another test tomorrow.

But if you’ve been having sex unprotected try not to be too surprised when the test comes back positive.

How quickly did the line show up?
if it was outside the time frame it’s more likely to be an evap.
But if within the timeframe most likely it’s a true positive

It looks positive op, evap lines are usually grey and yours is blue.

I would get a clear blue digital that says pregnant/not pregnant and number of weeks. They were a great confirmation for me and saved the squinting at lines. I also had no false readings with them.

Going against the grain but I'd say evap because it's thin and your not sure on time. Only way to be sure is to test again.

Hi op, I'd be very suspicious to be honest. I posted about the same thing last month with a CB. It turned out to be an evap, and it even showed up 30 seconds after I took the test, so looked very convincing. I have had this happen to me many times with CB, they are utterly awful and I will never trust one again. Try a first response, they are much more reliable

It’s positive, congratulations. Speaking as a mum of 2, 13 months apart…..Get ready!

I ordered a first response off Amazon this morning so will be here tomorrow and hopefully get a more accurate read

I done a first response and was negative

How are you feeling about it? If you’re still 6 days out from your period then you could still be pregnant. So if it were me I’d test again next week and sort some contraception if a positive test is not the result you want.
