Hi I'm having a very very tough time. Been suffering for too long. And craving for help and advice. So I had miscarriage 9 weeks ago and was bleeding since day 1 was in hospital had blood transfusion and then pregnancy was also progressing. Bleeidng stopped was given progesterone and then 8 week scan showed no baby no heartbeat just a sac and tiny yolk sac.
So i stopped progesterone but started bleeding got given medical management that made me bleed heavy and require another blood transfusion.
I was sent home with Tranxamic acid and 2 weeks before a scan that showed not obvious sign of retained products. Still bleeding lightly with Tranxamic acid.
So I went to the doctors and they prescribed me doxycyline and metronidazole. And I had that since yday and bleeding very heavy today with some clots and red bright blood. Are these antibiotics supposed to clear any remains? Did anyone else go through anything similar to me? I'm just so so worried. And mentally affected and feel absolutely hopeless.
