Just got first set of pessaries today after a Bfp and all I know is I have to take one a day (via the front or back!)

Does anyone have any tips on time of day or anything else like that? Never used them before

I suggest the morning or right before bed. I used the front because I found it easier access, but stayed laid down for 30 mins or so afterwards (I had a pessary twice a day so was doing first thing in the morning and just before bed). Also wear a pantyliner as they leave a mess and use your period underwear/underwear on it's way out.

And the best of luck with your pregnancy!

I used to put them in the back! I was worried about thrush and itchiness if I put them in the front. I used to lie on the bed at bedtime and insert it. Then I'd go to sleep. I don't remember it being very messy at all this way. Congrats on your bfp.

Thank you!

It's third time lucky for me after 2 losses so hoping it will help

Currently taking them here too, twice a day for me after two losses this year, and so far I've made it to a little over 10w! I had some spotting early on just as I got the prescription which I wanted to monitor so I started to take them rectally then: you don't have to lie down afterwards, it isn't as messy so doesn't requiring a panty liner, and it doesn't irritate my cervix either.

One when I get up and the second one about 12hr later just before I put DC1 to bed.

Best of luck and congratulations on your BFP!

@Yubgftr I put mines in when I go to bed at night and the half hour before I need to get up for work in the mornings!
