Hi all, I’m 27 weeks currently and have ICP. At my current hospital I am being monitored very thoroughly and feel quite reassured that they are handling the situation well.
My partner and I are supposed to be relocating for work a couple of months before the birth, to an area of the UK which is more remote. I’m now a bit worried that I may not receive as good care there (I just have no way of knowing) and am wondering whether I should try to stay here for the birth. I’ve heard of some hospitals and midwives anecdotally not taking ICP as seriously and not monitoring weekly etc.
does anyone have experience of relocating during a high risk pregnancy?
