Bloody show? Please help

Hi all,

I'm 38/39 weeks pregnant. Me and my partner had sex this morning and this is what happened straight after. It's now slowed and almost stopped. It's not enough to fill up a pad so it's not like squirting out.

Is this my bloody show? I had a growth scan last week and she's normal, everything's fine, she's head down ready.

I panicked when I saw this blood, it doesn't really hurt. But I am getting crampy pains like period pains.

I had the same - give your midwife a call. Mine actually became a torrent but they weren’t in the least worried and just said it was a bloody show. Labour progressed quite quickly from that point.

You need to ring your maternity unit triage line - they’ll likely invite you in

Could be the start of labour. As others have said ring your maternity ward and they’ll no doubt want to examine you
