Late period

Hi Everyone.
We only started TTC this last month so I'm not expecting to be pregnant but my period is late. I've had regular cramping leading up to the date I thought AF was coming. I feel like I'm going to come on any minute. I feel a bit nauseous sometimes and I have aching in my lower back and also very tired. I have taken several tests - all negative.
Has this happened to anyone? I had my LB 3 years ago and I don't remember any of this.

When should I test? Period should have started Monday

I was exactly the same as you, first month of trying, wasn't expecting to get pregnant, I came off my pill on the 9th August and had a period on the 12th August, took some tests around that time, very faint positives and then negative, very strange, so I just thought that I had missed the boat this month, that my periods hadn't got into a rhythm because of just coming off of the contraception and my period was late and carried on and then I realised that I hadn't come on for about 8 days after I was expecting too and took another test and it was positive!

So I'm now pregnant awaiting a scan next week to check my dates, my thoughts are, I ovulated later than expected so my period was due later? I would leave it a couple of days and test again xx

Will keep everything crossed for you! I first tested when I first thought my next period would be due after the 12th August period but it must have been a longer cycle. Maybe you are the same 🤞🏻😊 x
