Am I going into labour?

I am 39 weeks and iv been loosing some clear mucus for over a week when I go to the toilet it’s in the toilet water. Last night I had some spotting it was just pink. I went to sleep and woke up this morning having mild contractions, they seam a bit erratic and all over the place but some are quite strong and I have to breath through them, I feel it starting in my lower back and wrap around my tummy rather than just my tummy. Could labour be starting ?

My labour was only in my back as didn't realise DS was back to back. Until the doctor turned him that's when my stomach also started to hurt.

Go and get checked and they will be able to tell you but it definitely sounds like you are.

Still going now 5pm. Did call the hospital tbey said to wait it out and to call back if… my water breaks. I have blood. Baby’s movements change, or the pains are very intense lasting 1min every 5mins for 1 hour.

Definitely sounds like labour. I was always told if three 1minute long contractions in 10 mins then it's time to go to the hospital whether or not your waters have broke yet. Mine certainly hadn't when I went to the hospital and was 4cm. Anyway, it sounds like you are close, so I would keep the hospital updated and if you feel you need to go at any point then go! @purplemama1990 I hope it is my induction is just days away and I wanted to avoid that at all costs

Some peoples waters don't go on there own so rely on your timings.
