Hi there,

I found out I was pregnant on Friday night, had a negative that morning and a squinter by the evening. Next morning a very faint but clear pink line. I have 1 daughter and also I had a miscarriage in March so I am very scared about this one.

Since then I've been tracking my tests on FRERS and easy @ home and I am worried my tests aren't progressing enough - THe FRERS look the same for the last 3 days? Please can someone take a look I am absolutely petrified!!❤️🙏

Hi @KS23 - your FRER on day 14 is definitely darker than the others, and your latest cheapie is also the darkest.

It looks like you are testing every day/sometimes twice a day? It's really best to wait 2 days between testing as this allows for more hormone to build up and the line will then be more clearly darker. HCG doubles every 2-3 days. I know it's hard - but try to resist testing every day! Every 2 days max, and same time (FMU) every time.

Also, I don't say this to scare you, but line progression isn't a crystal ball. I had 2 miscarriages earlier this year. When I go pregnant again, I tested obsessively. Had wonderful line progression, dye stealers, 3+, the works. Sadly I miscarried at 6 weeks - so all that expense and worry was for nothing.

I am pregnant again (11 weeks) and I did test a little but only for about a week, and I didnt test as often. It actually helped my anxiety not to test as much. All seems to be going well, so just hoping this is my sticky bean :)

best of luck and big big congratulations!!! x

@Skylark1990 - I know it's not a Crystal ball 😢 I had a horrible missed miscarriage in March at 6/7 weeks too, and also amazing line progression 3+ etc too, but for some reason I find myself here again as I am someone who needs to have some kind of control - i hate myself for it!

I'm so sorry for your losses ❤️ but Congrats on your pregnancy ❤️ I hope it goes smoothly :)

Only if you don't mind answering, but do you know the cause for your miscarriages?

Hey, sorry for the delay. I'm so sorry for your previous loss, that must be so hard.

I'm not sure what caused my previous miscarriages, I've had relatively thorough tests done and all normal. I was breastfeeding quite a lot during the first two pregnancies that I lost, and less so with the third. I had covid just before the third loss.

With this one, I'm feeding DD but just once a day and will be stopping soon. So that could have played a part, hard to know! Bf can lower progesterone. I have also been quite run down this year, and stressed. Again, less so with this pregnancy as I made some changes to my work etc. I'm also taking progesterone this time round.

how are you feeling today? X
