Hi guys I know it's possible to get pregnant without a period but I've been breast for the last 20 months and had no periods I also have pco and so tracking ovulation doesn't really work on me. Anyway I did a test this morning and I see a faint line but what are the chances this could be it? I've had faint lines in the past so I'm not even sure that it's a real bfp I'll go do a digital later on. Also have no idea when I could've conceived or how far I would be if I was?

That looks like a fairly true positive to me I'd say you were definitely pregnant.

I wouldn’t call that line particularly faint. It is positive. Breastfeeding is not an effective form of contraception. You need to speak to a doctor for blood tests/ a scan to see how far along you are, there is no other way of telling in your situation.

Ahh that's given me some relief I'll definitely do that soon. Thank you!

This looks early-ish eg 4 or 5 weeks but best to get bloods done. No doubt it's a look line - could see it without opening the image!

georgarina · 20/09/2022 17:21

Yep it's a definite line!

It looks faint so around 4/5 weeks?

Why did you take the test? Were you having symptoms? Can you remember having any?

I had both lines as thick at 4 weeks pregnant l so maybe you’re before that? Think now only a scan and / or a blood test will tell.
