HCG results - terrified and desperate for some kind of reassurance

I had a positive pregnancy test on Monday 12th (several). My periods are really irregular, so I could have been around 13 weeks. My doctor had sent me to see the midwife on Wednesday for a booking in appointment and the next day I was sent for a scan.

The sonographer was concerned until I told her how irregular my periods were. Via a trans vaginal scan she found a 3mm sac and an 11mm thickened endometrium
She said I was likely around 4 weeks pregnant.
Due to a history with pregnancy loss I was sent for EPU for bloods and advised to do a digital test with dates (which read 2-3 weeks)
I have since been back for more and more bloods including this morning with the following results:
15/09/22 899
17/09/22 1488 a 65.5% increase
19/09/22 2229 a 49.7% increase
Obviously they have not doubled.

I have been told to phone EPU tomorrow to book for more bloods on Wednesday.

I have really fragile mental health - I’ve been signed off work due to work stress and quite honestly I’m barely able to cope.

I’m not sure what I’m asking really? Advice? Views from anyone in the know or who has had similar results.

I have my husband who is being great but I’m feeling very isolated and unable to share this with anyone.

I don't think that's so bad or you are just within threshold. Check the babymed hcg calculator. Hcg should double early on between every 48-72 hours (so every 2-3 days), then once you get above 1200-6000, the doubling rate slows down to 72-96 hours. (3-4 days). It's a little more difficult if you don't know how many days past ovulation you are. It'll depend on your next blood test, but they look like they are going up within threshold.

My bloods went from doubling every 56 hours, to 59 hours, then 71hrs between 2500 and 4000. That's slower compared to previous pregnancies, but I'm at 9 weeks now and the latest test I did at 32dpo was 15000. hcg can vary massively between pregnancies too. My first pregnancy I was up at 19000 at 22dpo. My second successful pregnancy was faster at first, but similar to this pregnancy hcg levels.

Thank you something.

I have found what you’ve said really comforting. I understand so well that bodies and how they work don’t fit into neat little brackets but the NHS have been so firm about doubling in 48hrs (despite the gap between the first two being < 42hrs), that they are frightening me.

I’m reading lots online (which is both helping and hurting in equal measures) who are saying similar to you - esp the time periods being 48-72 and 72-96.

I’m trying to work out when would be the best time (and it is hard not even having an LMP to go by) to book a private scan, so I can see more than a sac - hopefully.

I’ve now started to cramp.
Wonder if anyone has any advice?
